Ingrid is widely recognised as one of the rising stars of family law amongst peers and barristers with whom she has worked. Ingrid’s calm and thorough approach to each case gives every client the confidence and assurance they need.

Ingrid began her career as a paralegal in a city firm before joining Laurus where she undertook her training contract, prior to being promoted to the role of Associate.

She has also recently completed her foundational training in mediation with the Family Mediator's Association, and is working towards further accreditation. This gives her clients the widest range of options when it comes to resolving their matters. Ingrid is often able to provide a safer, less stressful and less time consuming path for her clients in her capacity as a mediator.

Ingrid’s crucial involvement in a broad variety of cases has enabled her to develop a skillset to deal with all types of family matters, with particular focus being on the financial consequences of relationship breakdown and all aspects of children work.

She has worked on a variety of cases from the straightforward, to the high profile and complex, and this range of work has enabled her to understand and strategize a case from the outset - able to look at the facts of a case and come up with and execute a well thought-out case plan from the outset.

Her child law practice also includes a broad range of disputes from contact and living arrangements to cases where there are international elements, and she has been involved in cases involving Spain and Dubai.

Ingrid’s warm and knowledgeable approach that has made her a favourite with clients and leads to her receiving glowing feedback from industry professionals, and particularly Counsel.
