Craig has a wealth of experience in TOLATA claims where he has successfully represented claimants, defendants and third parties.
He is also instructed in complex private law disputes including those involving serious allegations of sexual abuse, domestic violence and potential parental alienation. He is recognised by professional and lay clients as having a calm and reassuring approach which is balanced with an unrivalled ability to manage client’s expectations. Craig’s attention to detail, thorough preparation and determined advocacy style leaves clients satisfied that they have received the best representation on the issues which are important to them.
Craig has considerable experience of appearing in the Court of Protection, particularly in cases relating to decisions about property and financial affairs. Craig has successfully represented clients in contested deputyship applications and is sensitive to the familial dynamics and emotions that such applications often involve.
He has a wealth of experience of acting in cases with an international element both in the context of his financial remedies practice and in Children Act proceedings. Craig has successfully represented clients seeking to remove children from the jurisdiction and to prevent their removal or secure their return in both the County Court and High Court.
Craig undertakes the full range of family law injunctions including applications for non-molestation and occupation orders under the Family Law Act 1996, applications pursuant to the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 and Human Rights Act injunction
