Don’t Fall Victim To Bogus HMRC Fraudsters

 In News

Remember – If HMRC genuinely need to contact you, they will write to you by post or message you via your secure online HMRC Self Assessment portal. They will NEVER cold-call you or text you and will only e-mail you if you are already in dialogue with them and have formally approved to communicate with them by email.

Please report any HMRC related phishing emails or bogus text messages by email to phishing@hmrc.gov.uk and then delete it immediately.

DO NOT open attachments or click any links in an email or text message, as they may contain malicious software or direct you to a bogus website.
